Small amount worsted weight yarn, (Brown)
Small amount worsted weight yarn, (Yellow)
Crochet hook, size F

Finishing Materials:
Tapestry needle
Magnet

Finished Size: 4" in diameter
Gauge:
  Center = 1 3/4" in diameter
  Petal = 1" in length

Sunflower Center: (Using Brown)
Rnd 1) Ch 2; 10 sc in 2nd chain from hook; join with a slip st in first sc: 10 sc.

Rnd 2) Beg. puff stitch [ch 2, (yo, insert hook in same stitch, pull up a loop to the height of current stitch) twice, yo, draw through last 5 loops on hook to complete a beg. puff stitch], ch 1, * puff stitch in next sc [(yo, insert hook in stitch, pull up a loop to the height of current stitches) 3 times, yo, draw through last 7 loops on hook to complete the puff stitch], ch 1; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in top of first puff st. Fasten off, secure ends: 10 puff stitches.

Sunflower Petals: (Using Yellow)
Rnd 1) Attach yellow to any ch 1 space on Rnd 2 of Sunflower Center; Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in last 3 ch; * slip st in next ch 1 space, ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in last 3 ch; repeat from * around; slip st in first st. Fasten off, secure ends: 10 Petals.
